Integrating Climate Science into Marshallese Language Arts
After two semesters with 9th grader at Marshall Islands High School, a clearer understanding of the interconnectedness of culture and science emerged, as shown in the Ae-Lon-Kein (Ocean-Sky-Land) diagram above. It was amazing watching the students' eyes light up and remain engaged (for the most part, when they weren't busy being teenagers!! :)
